F.A.Q.
Q: I've purchased a Groupon worth $30 in
classes at Briolette. What now?
A: Please look over our classes at www.briolettebeadsandmore.com,
or stop by the store to pick up a class schedule and look at the
samples to decide what you'd like to take. We have something for
everyone-from beginner through advanced beaders, wireworkers, or
multi-media jewelers! Once you've decided, call the store to register
(unfortunately, we can't accept Groupons for online registrations)
If your class costs more than the $30, you will only need to pay
the difference at the time you register.
Q: Do I need to register in advance, or can
I just show up?
A: You must register at least 24 hours in advance to ensure your
chosen class will run, and that there's space for you in class.
Some classes fill very quickly, so if you wait until the last minute
to register, there may not be space available!
Q: How does registration work?
A: Once you register, please arrive on time and prepared for class.
If you register and find that you can't make it, we are as flexible
as we can be to allow you to re-register without loss of your deposit
and/or Groupon. Please turn off your cell phone before class begins.
Q: The class I want to take costs more than
$30. How does that work?
A: Call us at (708) 366-8318 to register for your class, let us
know you have the Groupon, and you will only be asked to pay the
difference. Please bring your printed Groupon with you to class,
or redeem it on your phone when you come to check in for class.
Q: The Groupon says it expires in January,
but I thought they didn't expire. What's the deal with that?
A: While the amount you've spent on the Groupon doesn't expire,
the deal expires on January 25. So, if you don't redeem it by January
25, it's only worth $15.00 toward classes, not $30.00. You don't
lose your money, but you don't get the deal if you don't redeem
your Groupon by the expiration date.
Q: I registered for a class but last minute
can't make that day. What do I do?
A: Just give us a call 48 hours before your scheduled class and
we can transfer you to another date for that class. If you need
time to think about it we can issue you a refund or store credit
for the fee you paid to Groupon. If you cancel at the last minute
or do not call or do not show up for class your Groupon will only
be good for what you paid for it. The "deal" will be forfeited but
you can still use the Groupon at face value. (what you paid to Groupon)
Q: I'm going to run late to class. What should
I do?
A: Because we can't make the other students wait for latecomers,
please call us at (708) 366-8318 as soon as you know you might be
late. More than 15 minutes late, it's at the teacher's discretion
to admit you to class. After 30 minutes, you are considered no-call,
no-show and forfeit your Groupon and any fees you paid.
Q: Can I use this Groupon toward a Boot Camp
Class?
A: Absolutely! This Groupon is good toward any of our regular scheduled
classes. If the class fee is more than the $30, you can pay the
difference at the time of registration.
Q: I really want to take the Guest Teacher
class coming up. Can I use my Groupon?
A: Sorry, no. Due to the special circumstances of visiting teachers,
we cannot accept Groupons toward registration for their classes,
but there is usually a deal for taking more than one of their sessions.
Q: I bought a Groupon and got one as a gift.
Can I use them both on the same class?
A: We can only accept one Groupon per person per class, but you
can use your second Groupon toward any other class on our regular
schedule.
Q: I'd like to buy a Groupon for my kids/grandkids.
Can I?
A: Our classes are intended for anyone 12 and up. We do parties
for younger kids, but parties are not included in this Groupon offer.
Q: I signed up for a class, and my friend
might be interested. Can I bring her to watch?
A: Please do not bring unregistered guests or children with you
to class. We will not admit anyone who has not paid for class, and
no refunds will be given. However, if your friend would like to
register directly with us in advance and attend with you, we'd be
happy to accommodate them as long as space allows.
Q: I have a friend who wants to come with
me but didn't buy the Groupon. Can she get the same price I paid
for the Groupon?
A: No. Groupons are a very special offer, and as such, we cannot
extend that price outside of the Groupon sales.
: Will you be running another Groupon offer?
A: Hopefully, YES! As far as the when, we aren't sure yet. Make
sure you join the Groupon community so you don't miss out!
Q: I don't like/want/need any of the classes
on this schedule. Can I just use my Groupon for merchandise?
A: No, the Groupon is only valid for class registrations and is
not transferable to merchandise credit. On the upside, your Groupon
is valid for some time and our class schedule changes every few
months. I'm sure we can find something fun for you by then!
Q: I purchased a Groupon for your sister
store Caravan Beads, but would rather redeem it at your location.
Can I do that?
A: Sorry, no. While we are sister stores, the Groupon offer is not
interchangeable between the two stores. Please do come and visit
us both! Each store has a different selection of beads, classes,
and more to wow you with!
Q: I just completed my first class. What
next?
A: We definitely don't want you to be a stranger. If this was your
first experience beading, it's easy to get overwhelmed with choices.
Our beadgirls are here to help if you want to design in the store,
and we have a wide variety of classes for you to choose from as
a great next step in beading! Come to one of our weekly free classes.
You are always welcome to come in be creative, regardless of your
craft!
