Bicubix Blocks (Intermediate)
Weave created by Kat Wisniewski. This is actually Byzantine weave, but even better … it’s three-dimensional! Various colors and mixed metals can be incorporated into this design to really impress them all. Though the main focus of this class is creating a bracelet, students will also receive a second pattern that shows how to adapt this form into diamond-shaped earrings.
***Prerequisite: Any basic chainmaille class with knowledge of Byzantine weave.
Instructor: Kat Wisniewski
$60, 3 hrs, Materials included.
Dates: Tues. Dec. 7, 2-5
**New** Latticework Flex Bracelet-by Kat Wisniewski
Try this innovative and addictive pattern, nearly identical to a latticework work fence or an antique radiator screen! Rubber O-rings and anodized aluminum jump rings make this stretchy cuff wonderfully fun to make. Students will create a 2-row version in class with the ability to customize their colors from a wide variety of choices.
Pre-requisite: Some chainmaille experience. Some rings are challenging to close, so excellent dexterity is needed as you will be working with thick rings in tight spaces.
$55, 2.5 hours, includes full color instructions, materials to make an 8″ bracelet.
Date: Tues. Dec. 7, 5:30-8 pm
